
The St. Thomas event was recognized by all as a complete success-and not long afterwards, Roche called on Media Matrix for a Virgin Islands encore. This was the Roche Virology Group's meeting on the island of St. John, for which Roche needed a creative spark to get the attendees involved and reinforce learning. This time, although Media Matrix didn't produce the entire event, they were presented with a strong conceptual challenge.
They responded with two enjoyable and memorable game show treatments, both takeoffs on popular TV formats. Media Matrix brought the game show concepts to life through staging, realistic sets, on-site direction, professional talent, and even a ChromaKey studio for a "contestant video testimonials" segment like those used on several popular game shows. In the end, everybody "won"-and Roche, pleased with the results of both events, learned how quickly Media Matrix can follow up one success with another.
